Dr. Panagiotis Ballas

Dr. Panagiotis Ballas is a seasoned veterinarian and researcher with extensive experience in veterinary medicine, food microbiology, and public health. Currently serving as a Veterinarian and Responsible for the Pharmacy at felmo in Munich since December 2021, Dr. Ballas oversees the veterinary pharmacy operations. Previously, Dr. Ballas worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, focusing on the discovery of bioactive natural substances against food pathogens. As a Research Scientist at Vetmeduni Vienna, research concentrated on microbiology and immunology, culminating in a PhD thesis on opportunistic pathogens in endometritis.
