Michelle Sluis

Michelle Sluis is a seasoned freelance translator and field interpreter with extensive experience in various international organizations. Current roles include freelance translator and field interpreter since August 2021 and freelance coach at Inuka Coaching from November 2022 to April 2024. Previous positions feature freelance translator for the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice, as well as translator and supervisor at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon from 2010 to 2021. Michelle has also worked as a consultant in translation and project management for the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and as a copywriter and website content strategist at Société Générale de Banque au Liban SAL. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Translation Theories and Cognitive Sciences from Université de Caen Normandie, a Diplôme d'Etudes Supérieures in Journalism from Lebanese University and several French institutions, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Translation from Lebanese University.
