Alice Charlwood

Alice Charlwood has over 17 years of work experience. Alice began their career in 2003 at Mazars as an Audit Lead, where they specialized in large insurance companies and gained their ACA qualification with first time exam passes. In 2008, they joined Pearson plc and held various positions, including VP Finance, CPMO & CEA, Finance Director of Pearson English and Finance Director of Pearson Qualification Services and Pearson Qualifications International. During their time at Pearson, they were responsible for the financial performance and direction of the Global Corporate Affairs, Product and Efficacy & Research divisions, as well as the financial planning and corporate & strategic projects of Pearson English. Alice also had a 5 month secondment to the New York team to assist with strategic projects. In 2020, Alice joined Fenix Family as the Chief Operating Officer, UK.

Alice Charlwood studied at Uppingham School from 1997 to 1999. Alice then attended the University of Bristol, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a 2:1 in 2002. In 2006, they obtained a certification as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant from the INSTITUTE OF CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS IN ENGLAND AND WALES.
