Carl Zetterqvist has a diverse professional background, with experience in various industries and roles.
Carl is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Fenix Family, a position they began in January 2023.
Prior to their current role, they worked at Wolt, starting in September 2016 and leaving in September 2022. Carl served as the General Manager for Sweden, overseeing multiple cities and managing a team of around 115 employees. Carl was also responsible for launching Wolt's operations in Norway, which has since become a rapidly growing business with a large customer base. Wolt is an Apple-awarded app that allows customers to order food, groceries, and goods from top establishments.
Before joining Wolt, Carl worked at Bain & Company as a Senior Consultant from January 2014 to August 2016. In this role, they provided strategic and operational advisory services to clients. Carl'sareas of expertise included commercial excellence, turnaround, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, organizational change, market entrance, supply chain, and procurement. Bain & Company is a prestigious management consulting firm with a global presence and strong Nordic roots.
From June 2012 to November 2013, Carl worked at Langholm Capital LLP as an Investment Manager. Carl'sresponsibilities included improving daily operations for portfolio companies and managing long-term strategic issues such as financing, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate/business strategy. Carl also explored investment opportunities by meeting with small and midcap companies. Langholm Capital LLP focuses on investing in high-growth consumer businesses that are well-positioned to capitalize on long-term consumer and demographic trends.
Carl began their career at Deutsche Bank in June 2006 and worked there until May 2012. Carl served as an Associate in M&A and Leveraged Finance, where they analyzed, managed, and executed transactions worth MDSEK 220. Deutsche Bank offers a wide range of investment banking products and services to large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies, hedge funds, and financial sponsors.
Carl Zetterqvist completed their education from 2000 to 2005 at the Stockholm School of Economics, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Financial Management. In 2005, they also attended the University of St. Gallen to pursue a Master of International Management degree in the CEMS program. Later in 2009, they briefly attended Columbia Business School for an Executive Education program.
