Zhiao Yu

Zhiao Yu has a extensive work history with several different companies beginning from 2014. Zhiao first worked as a Research Assistant at Peking University from 2014 to 2017. Zhiao then worked at DPTechnology as an Advisor from February 2021 to December 2021. In 2020, they worked at Tesla as a Cell Engineering for a brief period from June to September. Later, they were a Consultant at Stanford University from May 2022 to July 2022 and then worked as a PhD Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant from September 2017 to May 2022. Zhiao co-founded and worked as a CTO at Feon Energy in November 2022, and after that, they joined ByteDance as an Advisor from November 2022 to May 2023 and Research Scientist from July 2022 to November 2022. Recently, Zhiao became a Fellow at Activate in June 2023.

Zhiao Yu obtained a Bachelor of Science in Materials Chemistry from Peking University in 2017. In 2016, they spent a year at Stanford University as an Undergraduate Visiting Researcher (UGVR) in Chemical Engineering. Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Chemistry at Stanford University, which they expect to complete in 2022.
