Sinead McEvoy

Sinead McEvoy has extensive work experience in the planning and waste management sectors. Sinead most recently worked at the Fermanagh & Omagh District Council as the Head of Waste Management since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Principal Planning Officer at the same council from July 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining the Fermanagh & Omagh District Council, Sinead worked at the Mid Ulster District Council as the Principal Planning Officer-Head of Development Plan and Enforcement from April 2015 to July 2020. Sinead'searlier experience includes a role as the Principal Planning Officer at the DOE Planning Service in Armagh, Banbridge, and Craigavon from August 2012 to March 2015.

Sinead also held positions at the DOE Planning Headquarters, where they worked as the Principal Planning Officer-Special Studies from January 2009 to September 2012, and as the Senior Planning Officer-Special Studies from January 2006 to January 2009.

Sinead McEvoy attended Loreto Grammar School, where they did not pursue any specific degree or field of study. Later on, they enrolled at Queen's University Belfast and earned a Master of Science degree in Town and Country Planning.
