Eric Gravil has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Eric is currently the Head of Data, Integration & Analytics at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, where they lead three data-focused teams and has implemented a vision for transitioning to a lakehouse architecture. Prior to this, they worked at Vifor Pharma as the Enterprise Data Management & Analytics Lead, where they developed an analytics strategy and initiated stakeholder engagement to position data as a strategic asset. Eric also served as the Information Technology Business Relationship Manager at Vifor Pharma, managing relationships with sales, marketing, and medical teams and implementing a new CRM and marketing automation solutions program. Before joining Vifor Pharma, Eric worked at Novo Nordisk, where they held various roles including Head of Business Intelligence Solutions, Head of Project Execution Manager, Business Relationship Manager, and Business Intelligence Manager. At Eli Lilly and Company, Eric held roles such as Head of Global CRM Business Intelligence Design & Development, Team Lead CRM Support, Business Intelligence Development Lead, CRM Project Manager, and Sales & Marketing Project Manager. Eric also had earlier experience at FRALIB, where they worked as a Business Intelligence Project Leader and Lotus Notes Project Leader. Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated leadership skills, strategic thinking, and expertise in data management and analytics.
Eric Gravil attended Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC) from 1990 to 1992, where they pursued a degree in MIAGE with a focus on IT, Economics, and Marketing. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained multiple certifications throughout their career. In 2011, they received the ITIL V3 Foundation certification from Exin. In 2015, they obtained the Prosci Change Management Certification from Prosci. In 2019, they achieved the ITIL V4 Foundation Level certification from PeopleCert. Furthermore, Eric Gravil has pursued a range of certifications in various aspects of Azure and Microsoft technologies, including Generative AI Models, MLOps with Azure, Spark MLflow, Microsoft Bing Chat, for which they are expected to obtain certification in 2023.
