Geraldine Pilar Matias

Geraldine Pilar Matias has extensive experience in IT governance and project management, currently serving as the Head of IT Governance in Global IT at Ferring Pharmaceuticals since March 2022. Prior to this role, Geraldine held several leadership positions, including Head of IT PMO at Logoplaste and various roles at NOS SGPS, where responsibilities included overseeing PMO for IT Delivery & Transformation. Geraldine's career spans multiple companies, such as Optimus - Comunicações S.A. and Sonaecom, where significant contributions were made in PMO and IT governance implementation. Starting as an Industrial Engineer at Delphi, Geraldine also managed the SAP Portugal Competence Centre. Educational qualifications include a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and an MBA from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
