Helene Thybo

Helene Thybo has extensive work experience in various roles related to clinical compliance, regulatory intelligence, and project management. Helene is currently a Senior Director of Global Clinical Compliance at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Global Clinical Compliance in the Global Clinical Development department at the same company from December 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Helene worked at IQVIA, a healthcare data and research company. Helene held the position of Associate Director of Offering Management in IQVIA Regulatory Intelligence and Global Market Insights from October 2019 to December 2020. Helene also served as an Offering Development Manager in IQVIA Regulatory Intelligence (Tarius) and Global Market Insights from June 2019 to December 2020. Prior to IQVIA, they worked at Tarius A/S, an IQVIA company, as an Offering Development Manager from February 2018 to June 2019.

Earlier in their career, Helene worked as a Senior Service Delivery Manager at NNIT for a short period in 2017. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Manager in the Life Sciences Advisory/Life Sciences Professional Services department at NNIT. In this role, they managed a team of seven highly specialized life science consultants, handled major pharma client accounts, and oversaw operational business management responsibilities.

Helene's career began in 2006 at LEO Pharma A/S, where they held multiple positions. Helene served as a Project Leader in LEO Project Management from May 2013 to August 2015. Prior to that, they were a Project Manager in Regulatory Affairs from June 2010 to April 2013. Additionally, they held the role of a Senior Regulatory Intelligence Specialist from April 2006 to April 2013.

Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, Helene gained experience in legal roles. Helene worked as a Legal Officer at The European Social Fund from May 2005 to March 2006. In addition, they worked as a Legal Officer at the Danish Medicines Agency from May 2003 to July 2004. Helene also completed a traineeship at The European Ombudsman from January 2000 to July 2000.

Helene Thybo completed their Matematisk Studentereksamen (Mathematics) from Mulernes Legatskole, Odense in 1994. Helene then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen for a year, from 1995 to 1996. Following that, they obtained a Master's degree in Law from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, graduating in 2002. Later, from 2011 to 2015, Helene completed a Diploma in (Information Technology) Project Management from DTU - Technical University of Denmark. In 2017, they obtained certification in Business Change Management (Foundation and Practitioner) from APMG.
