Ahmed Menesy

Ahmed Menesy is a seasoned electrical power system engineer with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Power System Engineer at Ferroglobe PLC since March 2023, responsibilities include performing and supervising electrical power system studies, maintaining HVDC transmission links, and conducting transient stability studies. Previous roles include similar senior positions at Colm Engineering Ltd, where AHMED designed renewable energy systems, and BOS Innovations Inc., focusing on automated production systems. Additional expertise was gained at PowerCore Engineering and German Solar Corporation, along with early career roles involving lecturing and engineering at Mansoura University and Qarun Petroleum Company. Ahmed Menesy holds multiple degrees, including an M.Eng. in Electrical Power System Engineering and Renewable Energy Systems from Western University and an M.Sc. in Electrical Power Systems and Machines Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
