Gordon Chen

Gordon Chen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent position was as a Strategic Account Manager at Ferrotec, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Development Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific from November 2021 to July 2022.

Before transitioning to strategic roles, Gordon held various sales positions. Gordon worked as an International Sales representative at Tomoe Shokai Co., Ltd from October 2016 to October 2021. In this role, they managed projects, coordinated with suppliers and end-users, and planned exhibits at international medical industry exhibitions.

Gordon also served as a Global Sales Specialist at Beaunion Cosmetics Factory from October 2014 to January 2016. Here, they were responsible for developing new clients, responding to customer needs, and arranging international shipments.

In addition, Gordon gained experience in the service industry as a Waiter and Kitchen Hand at Trois Poulettes Italian Restaurant from August 2009 to June 2010. Gordon also worked as a Sales Assistant at Da Chian Office Machineries Ltd from July 2006 to August 2009, where they assisted with administrative support and promoted digitization of company procedures.

Lastly, Gordon worked as an Assistant at Mae Von Makeup Institute from February 2008 to June 2008, where they acquired professional makeup artistry techniques and promoted cosmetics product knowledge.

Gordon Chen pursued their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Fu Jen Catholic University, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. Gordon later continued their education at The University of Sheffield, from 2012 to 2013, where they completed an MSc in Polymers for Advanced Technologies under the Department of Chemistry. Additionally, they completed a Cosmetics Product Manager Training certification at the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in July 2015.
