Vincenzo Zarrella

Vincenzo Zarrella has a diverse work experience across various companies. Vincenzo started their career as an ICT System Administrator at Metoda S.p.A. in 2000. Vincenzo then joined Hewlett-Packard (HP) as a Team Leader and Technical Specialist in 2000, where they worked until 2003. Following that, they worked at Trenitalia, starting as a Project Manager from 2003 to 2005, then as an ICT Architect from 2005 to 2009, and finally as an ICT Security professional from 2009 to 2011. Currently, they are employed at Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane S.p.A. since 2011, where they started as an ICT Security program & project engineer until 2020. Presently, they hold the position of Head of Cyber Security program & project management, where they are responsible for the definition, implementation, and governance of cyber security projects for IT business systems of Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato.

Vincenzo Zarrella graduated from Università degli Studi del Sannio-Benevento in 1999, earning a degree in Informatics Engineering with a score of 107/110. In 2008, they obtained the ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from HSPI Consulenti di Direzione. Most recently, in January 2020, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
