Cameron Arens

Cameron Arens is an experienced arts administrator and producer with a diverse background in music and performance management. Currently serving as the Directeur adjoint de l'Académie and involved in artistic administration at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence since November 2022, Cameron previously held the role of Consulting Producer at Spoleto Festival USA and covered casting direction and coordination at the Opera National de Paris. Additional experience includes serving as Künstlerischer Produktionsleiter at Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe and Senior Director of Production at Lyric Opera of Chicago, along with roles at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master of Music in Double Bass Performance from Yale University and Yale School of Music, respectively.
