Kalyn Mace

Kalyn Mace, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kalyn currently works at FEV Tutor as a Bid Manager, where they manage the entire proposal development process, including writing and editing technical responses, managing an international team, and coordinating all parts of the response. Kalyn also implements procedural changes to scale the RFP process and utilizes desktop publishing tools.

Before joining FEV Tutor, Kalyn worked at Blackboard as a Bid Response Manager and Renewal Specialist/Training Coordinator. In these roles, they handled bid responses and managed the training process for clients.

Kalyn also has experience as a Freelance Writer/Researcher/Editor and has worked on various writing projects from 2016 to 2021. Kalyn has written and edited content for professors and conducted literature reviews and research on character education.

In their previous role at Loudoun Citizens for Social Justice, Kalyn served as a Violence Prevention Program Manager and Graduate/Research Assistant. Kalyn assisted professors in editing works, conducted literature reviews, and worked as an Assistant Coordinator for Virginia's State School of Character program. Kalyn also presented on character education topics at national conferences.

Kalyn Mace, PhD has a strong educational background focused on character education and psychology. Kalyn obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Character Education from Regent University, where they studied from 2010 to 2017. Before that, they earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Character Education from the same institution, completing their studies in 2012. Prior to their time at Regent University, Kalyn attended Liberty University, where they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Services-Health and Wellness from 2008 to 2009. Kalyn also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology, which they obtained from Liberty University between 2003 and 2008.

In addition to their formal degrees, Kalyn has continued their professional development by obtaining several certifications.
