Sophie Boedec

Médecin Fédéral National at FFME

Sophie Boedec is a highly experienced medical professional currently serving as Médecin Fédéral National at the Fédération française de la montagne et de l'escalade since December 2022 and as Médecin du sport at the Centre Hospitalier de Saint-Nazaire since September 2020. Additionally, Sophie holds roles as Médecin GRIMP and Médecin sapeur pompier volontaire at SDIS44 since January 2009, and as praticien hospitalier médecin urgentiste at Centre hospitalier Châteaubriant Nozay Pouancé since November 2008. In preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympics, Sophie will assume the role of Medical Manager for sport Escalade in July 2024. Previous experience includes serving as an urgentist at CHU de Nantes from November 2006 to November 2021. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Medicine from Nantes Université and specialized training in disaster medicine, traumatological emergencies, and the legal aspects of medical practice from various institutions.
