Alex Ehrlich has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2008 at the Great Neck Park District, they worked as an Accounting Intern. In 2009, they became the Chief Financial Officer at WorkCraft Inc and later transitioned to Harrow's, where they served as a Controller until 2012. During this time, they also briefly worked as an Assistant to the Vice President of Investments at Oppenheimer & Co. In 2012, they joined FGI, initially working as a Business Analyst and steadily progressing to Assistant Vice President Underwriting, Underwriting Manager, and currently as a Director.

Alex Ehrlich's education history begins with their high school education at Locust Valley High School, where they completed their secondary education from 2001 to 2005. Afterward, they attended Hofstra University Honors College from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree focused on Accounting and Finance. In 2010, Alex briefly attended Stony Brook University, where they studied Mathematics and Computer Science. The following year, in 2011, they enrolled at CUNY Queens College for a short period to study Mathematics and Computer Science again. Finally, in 2011, Alex pursued a Master of Science degree in Financial Risk Engineering at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, which they completed in 2013.
