Brian Meade has a range of experience in architectural design and instruction. Brian started their career in 1995 as a Designer and Intern Architect at Perkins + Will, where they contributed to the design of educational facilities in the Philippines. Brian then worked as a Designer and Staff Architect at DeBartolo Architects, where they contributed to the design of various projects including an early childhood education center in Phoenix and a library in Valley Forge. In 1999, Meade joined David Woodhouse Architects as a Project Designer and Project Architect, working on projects such as a visitor center in Lisle and a children's activity center addition to a historic library in Lake Forest. Brian also worked on the renovation of a barnhouse in Lake Forest. In 2005, Meade joined Lucien Lagrange Architects as a Designer and Senior Project Architect, where they worked on a hotel conversion and lobby renovation project in Chicago. Brian then worked at Dewberry as a Design Director from 2006 to 2019. Finally, in 2019, Meade joined FGM Architects as a Design Principal.
Brian Meade attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1989 to 1995. Brian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Architecture (BSAS) degree as well as a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree during their time at the university. Brian'sfield of study was Architecture.
