Steph Townsend, NCIDQ, IIDA has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Sales Associate for Gap Inc., providing personalized customer service and promoting products. In 2014, they interned at ForrestPerkins and served as a Project Manager at SCAD Collaborative Learning Center, contributing to hospitality and storytelling projects. In 2015, Steph volunteered as a Design Volunteer for Nka Foundation, assisting with the design and construction of a rammed earth house in Ghana. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Interior Designer at AECOM, gaining experience in a professional setting. In 2019, they joined INTERFORM as an Interior Designer and later transitioned to FGM Architects in 2021, where they currently hold the position of Interior Designer II.
Steph Townsend, NCIDQ, IIDA obtained their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Interior Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, which they attended from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, with a minor in Philosophy, at the University of Notre Dame, where they studied from 2008 to 2013.
