Jeanine Symes

Jeanine Symes serves as Controller for Finsbury Glover Hering in the firm’s Corporate Operations Division. As Controller, she manages the day-to-day operations of the Accounting department. She is responsible for transactions related to clients, general ledger accounts and payroll. Jeanine works with the CFO to implement controls in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and to improve the efficiency of accounting procedures. Prior to joining Finsbury Glover Hering, Jeanine worked in public accounting and was a Senior Accountant at CBIZ, a national professional services company. She served as an on-site project coordinator and lead accountant for outsourcing clients in a variety of industries and performed diverse client services in the areas of taxation and audit. Jeanine earned a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Howard University in Washington, D.C. She resides with her two children in Chevy Chase, MD. She enjoys cooking, going for walks with her kids and traveling.
