Violeta Tkachuk

Violeta Tkachuk, CFA, currently serves as the Funding Desk Manager at the FHLBanks Office of Finance, a position held since April 2012. In this role, Violeta oversees daily operations of the Funding Desk, manages the pricing of securities, and evaluates demand for substantial bond and note issuances. Violeta has significantly contributed to the development of the LIBOR transition framework for the FHLB System and has been involved in issuing SOFR-linked floating rate notes. Previous titles at the same institution include Funding Desk Supervisor, Senior Funding Officer, and Senior Short Term Funding Officer, where Violeta coordinated sales and pricing strategies for the Discount Note Program. Prior to this, Violeta was a Graduate Program Assistant at George Washington University, where Violeta developed a database and maintained a website for graduate students. Violeta holds a Master of Science in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Maine.
