Chih Kong Tong

Chih Kong Tong is a highly experienced professional in the personal hygiene industry, currently serving as the Technical Lead for Nonwoven and Print at Fibertex Personal Care Group since July 2020. With a strong background in Business Development and R&D, Chih specializes in spunbond and spunmelt nonwoven materials and their applications in absorbent hygiene products. Previous roles include Manager of Cell Production and Research Scientist at Celestialab, where responsibilities involved stem cell production and collaboration with academia and marketing. Chih has also held various R&D positions at Fibertex Personal Care Group, focusing on new material development and technical support. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience, a Master of Science in Immunobiology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, all from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
