Miguel Mendonça

Miguel Mendonça has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Miguel started their career at Instituto Superior Técnico, where they worked as a Research Grant Holder from May 2014 to May 2015. Miguel then pursued a postgraduate degree in Software and Information Systems Engineering at the same institute from September 2015 to February 2016.

In September 2015, Miguel joined Deloitte Portugal as an FSI TI Consultant. During their time there, they played a crucial role in a significant transformation initiative for a multinational insurance company based in Copenhagen. Miguel worked on developing and maintaining middleware components for the company's software infrastructure. Miguel'stenure at Deloitte Portugal lasted until February 2018.

After leaving Deloitte, Miguel joined BiG - Banco de Investimento Global as a Software Engineer from February 2018 to March 2019. In this role, they were responsible for solution design and development of new products and features. Miguel utilized technologies such as C# and .NET framework.

Following their time at BiG, Miguel worked at Awayco as a Software Engineer from March 2019 to March 2020.

Most recently, Miguel joined Fidel API as a Software Engineer in April 2020.

Miguel Mendonça began their education at Instituto Superior Técnico in 2009 and completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 2013. During their undergraduate studies, they did not specify a field of study. Following this, Miguel pursued a Master's degree at the same institution in Hydraulics and Water Resources. Miguel successfully completed the MSc in Civil Engineering in 2015. In addition to their formal education, Miguel obtained a certification in Microsoft Excel Macros and VBA from the institution QualiCAD in October 2013. Miguel also obtained a certification in Espanhol Inicial-2 from the Instituto Espanhol de Línguas in December 2014.
