Gareth Walters

Gareth Walters currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer for The Fidelis Partnership in Bermuda, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Gareth was involved in Special Projects at Fidelis Insurance, focusing on corporate, operational, and financial restructuring from December 2021 to January 2023. With extensive experience in transactions, turnaround, and restructuring during tenure as a Director at EY from July 2019 to December 2021, and earlier as Director of Financial Services in Transaction Advisory, Gareth has demonstrated a solid track record in deal evaluation and operational integration. Previous positions include Head of Finance at Markel Corporation, Senior Manager at KPMG Advisory Bermuda, and Associate at TAWA Associates Ltd, building a robust background in insurance mergers and acquisitions. Gareth began their career as a Trainee Chartered Accountant at KPMG, gaining foundational expertise in life and non-life insurance audits and advisory services. Educational qualifications include studies at Imperial College London, Rugby School, and the University of Wales.
