Maddie Thompson

Maddie Thompson is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Fidelity Charitable®, where employment began in October 2019, progressing through various roles including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. Prior to this, Maddie worked at Fidelity Investments as an Associate Software Engineer for a brief period in June to October 2019. Academic experience includes roles at Elon University from August 2016 to December 2018, serving as a Teaching Assistant for the "Elon 101" course, an Academic Tutor in subjects such as statistics and computer science, a Web Technology Assistant, and a Resident Assistant for multiple housing facilities. Maddie also completed a Technical Internship at Fidelity Investments in the summer of 2018. Maddie holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained in May 2023, and a degree from Elon University, earned in 2019.
