Miguel Cardo

Miguel Cardo has been working in the technology industry since 1996. Miguel began their career as a Software Designer (Intern) at Siemens Semiconductors in Munich, Germany. Miguel then moved to Amberg, Germany to work as a Hardware Designer (Intern) at Siemens Industrial Automation. In 1997, they returned to Siemens Central Research organization as a Software Designer. The following year, they held two internships at Siemens, one at Siemens Central Research and Development and the other at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya as a Software Developer. In 1999, they joined Ericsson as a Software Designer, and was promoted to Technical Sales Support, Operational Product Manager, and Solution Architect. In 2010, they became a NFC Senior Consultant (Freelance) and in 2013, they founded and became the CTO of Fidesmo.

Miguel Cardo has a Masters in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, which they obtained between 1992 and 1999. Miguel also attended Colegio Mayor Fundación Empresa Pública from 1993 to 1996. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, including An Introduction to Marketing (December 2013), Startup Engineering (September 2013), Functional Programming Principles in Scala (May 2013), and Cryptography I (December 2012).
