Ben Chalmers has extensive experience in sales and marketing roles within the aerospace and defense industry. Ben currently serves as the Group Sales & Marketing Director at Field International Group Limited, where they execute aerospace sales and marketing initiatives. Prior to this, they held various positions at Meggitt, including Sales Director and Head of Airline Marketing EMEA, where they were responsible for business development and contractual maintenance in the EMEA region. Chalmers also worked at TECHMAN-HEAD Group as the Group Export Sales Director, overseeing the development of export sales and identifying key partner relationships. Additionally, they have experience in business development and international sales roles at Airbase UK Interiors Ltd, Bowcliffe Partners, Ellis Fairbank, Ring (Ring Automotive Ltd), Meggitt, and Dedienne Aerospace.
Ben Chalmers' education history includes a range of qualifications and experiences. In 1990 to 1994, they attended Thomas Magnus Upper School where they achieved 'A' Levels in French, English Literature, Biology, and General Studies. From 1994 to 1998, they studied European Languages & Business (Spanish & French) at Leeds Beckett University and obtained a BA (Hons) degree. In 1996 to 1997, Ben pursued further studies at Universidad de Granada and completed a Licenciatura (Spanish BA) in Empresariales con Frances (Business Studies with French, in Spanish). In 2007 to 2008, they obtained a diploma in Italian language and culture studies from Leeds Beckett University. In 2011, Ben participated in the Sales Leadership Programme at Hult Ashridge. Lastly, in 2016, they completed the Effective Negotiating program at Karrass® Negotiating, focusing on International Business/Trade/Commerce.
