Aimee Davis

Aimee Davis serves as the Senior Director at the Sue Ling Gin Education and Public Programs Center at the Field Museum, holding extensive experience in educational leadership and program development. Aimee has successfully secured significant funding for various initiatives, including a $20 million endowment for the department and programs focused on Asian American content. Aimee's history includes roles such as Senior Director of Learning and Director of Learning, overseeing various educational partnerships, resources, and programs. In addition to museum work, Aimee operates as a freelance writer, director, and producer in sketch comedy, with credits at prominent theaters in Chicago. Aimee's earlier experience includes teaching and curriculum development in middle school education and roles at esteemed institutions such as The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and The Second City. Aimee holds a Master's degree in Elementary and Middle School Administration from St. Xavier University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University.
