Katherine Knox is a seasoned event management professional with extensive experience in the hospitality and events industry. Currently serving as the Special Events Account Manager at The Field Museum since April 2011, Katherine specializes in managing social markets, including weddings, galas, and private parties, while overseeing the sale and coordination of the Museum’s diverse event spaces. Prior to this role, Katherine worked as a Senior Event Coordinator at the University of Chicago, where responsibilities included comprehensive event planning services and logistical support. Katherine also held the position of Program Support Specialist at the University of Chicago, contributing to international resident housing and event services. Katherine holds a Master of Science in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism and a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Studies, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
