Marylita Poma

Marylita Poma is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Science Communicator at The Field Museum since January 2023. Prior to this role, Marylita worked as a Communications Officer at the Interfaith Rainforest Initiative from June 2019 to December 2022 and held the position of Communications Consultant at SALUDPOL for a brief period in 2017. Earlier experience includes a Marketing and Communications Assistant role at the Office of Marketing and Communications at Randolph-Macon College from April 2013 to May 2016. Marylita Poma holds a Master of Public Administration from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Randolph-Macon College, supplemented by a study abroad program at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from UWC South East Asia.
