Emily Coates

Emily Coates is an experienced professional in the fields of education, mountaineering, and corporate sustainability. Currently serving as a Retail Specialist at Hooked on Granite Limited and as a Founder of Visit Wild Wales, Emily also holds the position of Senior Tutor at the Field Studies Council, where responsibilities include managing a team of eight and delivering educational programs. Past roles include being a Manager at Plas y Brenin, where oversight included a diverse range of activities and staff, and a Project Manager at PwC, with notable achievements in corporate sustainability and women's empowerment. Emily's qualifications include an MA Hons in Geography from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Environmental Technology with a distinction from Imperial College London. Emily is also involved with the British Mountaineering Council’s Equity Committee and has extensive mountaineering certifications from various training programs.
