Mesha Boyer

Mesha Boyer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mesha started as a Shipping and receiving team leader at Calypso Themed water park in 2013. In 2015, they worked as an Environmental Compliance officer at Lafleche Environmental Inc., followed by a role as a Hydroponic Technician/ Harvester at Smart Greens, where they demonstrated technical skills in water/nutrient management, pest management, and customer relations. In 2016, they worked as an Assistant Project Coordinator at St. Lawrence River Institute of Environmental Sciences and as a Growing Specialist / Environmental Technician at ZipGrow Inc. Mesha then became self-employed as a Technical Specialist in 2019 before taking on the role of Operation Grow - Farm and Employment Lead at Huronia Transition Homes. In the same year, they became the CEO of Eastend Greenery. Currently, they serve as the Head of Grow Operations at Fieldless Farms starting from 2020.

In 2004-2005, Mesha attended St. Lawrence College and obtained a Certificate in Basic Photography.

In 2008-2009, Mesha returned to St. Lawrence College and pursued a degree in Environmental Technician with a focus on Graphic Design.

From 2013 to 2015, Mesha attended St. Lawrence College once again, this time earning an Associate's Degree in Environmental Technician.

In 2017-2018, Mesha enrolled at Loyalist College and obtained a degree in Environmental Technologist, specializing in Environmental Science.

In addition to the formal education, Mesha has acquired various certifications over the years. These include the "McGill Personal Finance Essentials" from McGill University - Desautels Faculty of Management, obtained in September 2022. Mesha also obtained certifications in "Diligence in Drinking Water Operations" and "Operation of Small Drinking Water Systems" from the Walkerton Clean Water Centre in December 2017 and November 2017, respectively. Other certifications include the "Entry level Drinking Water Operator Certificate" from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change in April 2015, "Adult Level A CPR" from Cornwall Stormont Dundas and Glengary Emergency Medical Services in April 2014, and "BASICS.fst Certification" from TrainCan, Inc.
