Saurav Sharma

Saurav Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Saurav began their career as a SDE Intern at Microsoft in 2013, where they worked on the Virtual Machine Manager networking team. During their internship, they developed a diagnostic tool for Hyper-V Network Virtualization networks using C# and PowerShell.

In 2014, Saurav interned at Amazon as a SDE Intern, where they focused on improving search queries for the Amazon Dash team. Saurav utilized Natural Language Processing (NLP) to enhance the semantic understanding of product descriptions.

From 2015 to 2018, Saurav worked as a Software Engineer at Pandora. In this role, they contributed to various projects, including the A/B framework, which supported 100 million users. Saurav also utilized Django to build the primary A/B testing interface and implemented big-data and HPC technologies to support analysts and research scientists.

Saurav took a Sabbatical from 2018 to 2020 to prioritize their personal life. During this time, they spent quality time with their family and embarked on backpacking trips nationally and internationally to gain different perspectives on the human condition. Saurav also studied and practiced Buddhism and meditation.

Most recently, Saurav joined Fieldwire in 2020 as a Software Engineer.
