Andy Santoro's work experience begins in 1991 at Century Analysis, Inc. where they started as a Software Engineer. After a year, they transitioned to Development from Technical Support and took over the core framework for various projects, fixing bugs and developing new features. Andy also led efforts for Y2K modifications and testing, as well as porting products to new platforms.
In 1999, Santoro moved to New Era of Networks where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer. There, they served as the technical lead for MedSecure, a Windows based single sign-on product, and contributed to the design and development of features for Impact!, a leading integration toolkit. Andy also mentored new engineers, performed software ports, and helped with the transition to New Era's tools.
From 2001 to 2009, Santoro worked at Sybase as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for the development and management of a major release of Impact! (5.3) which included SNMP support. Andy also led ASE 15.
Starting in 2010, Santoro joined EFI where they held various roles. Andy began as a Senior Software Engineer, then transitioned to a Lead Software Engineer in 2013. As a lead, they took over core Fiery modules from a departed lead developer and is currently working on embedding a general-purpose database to address system consistency and durability issues. Andy became a Staff Software Engineer in 2019 and is currently still employed in that position.
Lastly, in 2023, Santoro also worked at Fiery as a Staff Software Engineer.
