Darren Burgess

Darren Burgess is a highly experienced sports performance professional currently serving as the General Manager of Performance at Adelaide Football Club since October 2021 and Co-Founder of TELOS Performance Partners since September 2024. Burgess has held multiple leadership roles, including Head of High Performance at Western United Football Club and Director - Australia at Elite Performance Partners. Previous positions include High Performance Manager at Melbourne Football Club, Director of High Performance at Arsenal F.C., and High Performance Manager at Port Adelaide Football Club. Burgess also contributed as Head of Fitness and Conditioning at Liverpool Football Club and Head of Fitness at Football Federation Australia. Academic credentials include a PhD in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Australian Catholic University and a degree in Sports Science from UNSW.
