Corey Welp

Corey Welp is a co-founder and Managing Partner of 1547 and was instrumental in bringing together the 1547 team. Corey manages the firm’s Dallas office, the center of finance, sales and marketing initiatives. His responsibilities include investor relations, raising capital, and financial evaluation of all new opportunities. Corey has proven experience in the data center space. He has led the company in three large scale property transactions totaling over 1 million SF of data center space under development. Since the company’s inception, Corey has guided the investment plan and strategy for each data center. Through his active role in the 1547 strategy, he focuses on managing the investment portfolio with an emphasis on balancing risk and opportunity.

Prior to forming 1547, Corey held executive positions with both boutique and major investment management firms. He has devoted his career to developing a network of investment advisors, family offices, and institutional asset managers. Through this network, investors have trusted him with over $4 billion for investment opportunities in various asset classes, including technology and real estate. Corey has developed a reputation as a premier innovator, leader and speaker with a focus on developing mutually beneficial relationships with customers and partners.

Mr. Welp holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Creighton University. Mr. Welp is currently a member of AFCOM.
