Brittany L. Hughes

Brittany L. Hughes is a seasoned financial professional currently holding the position of Vice President in Commercial Lending at Fifth Third Bank since May 2019, where Brittany also serves as Co-Chair for the Chicago African American Business Resource Group. In addition to this role, Brittany is involved with Start Early as an Affiliate Board Member and actively participates on the Board of Directors and as Associate Board Chair for BUILD Chicago, promoting support for at-risk youth. Brittany has experience as a Commercial Banker at MB Financial Bank, focusing on middle-market relationships, and operates as an Independent Contractor licensed insurance agent with Primerica. Early career experience includes research at the American Cancer Society. Brittany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medicine Economics with a Minor in Biology from Pomona College and completed the Chicag Urban League IMPACT 2023 Cohort Program at the University of Chicago, alongside additional education from the Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management at Northwestern University.
