James C. Leonard

Jamie Leonard serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer for Fifth Third Bancorp, responsible for Finance, Treasury, Business Planning and Analysis, Corporate Tax, Investor Relations and Accounting for Fifth Third Bancorp.

Jamie previously served as chief risk officer, responsible for key risk functions and overseeing the Company’s governance and strategy for risk management, including relationships with key regulatory agencies. Before that, he was Fifth Third’s treasurer, overseeing the Company’s investment portfolio, funding and liquidity, capital management and investor relations.

Jamie joined Fifth Third Bank in 1999 as a vice president in Bancorp Finance. He has served as chief financial officer for Commercial Banking; as chief financial officer of Fifth Third Bank (Cincinnati); and as director of Business Planning and Analysis. He also oversaw finance teams supporting business areas including Human Capital, Information Technology, Operations and Marketing.

Before joining Fifth Third, Jamie worked at Arthur Andersen in its audit practice.
