Dawn Denton

Dawn Denton is the Chief Growth Officer at Filene Research Institute since March 2023 and has served as a consultant for D2 Strategic Services since February 2015, providing analysis and strategic planning for financial institutions. As a member of Chief since May 2022, Denton supports the empowerment of women in leadership roles. Previously, Denton was employed at CUNA Mutual Group from April 1999 to March 2023, holding positions including Vice President of Sales and Sales Executive, where responsibilities included managing relationships with credit unions in Texas and increasing sales in a $104 million insurance territory across nine states. Denton holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from The University of Texas at Austin and a Customer Experience certificate from the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business. Significant accomplishments include building the #1 sales region in the country after revitalizing a previously underperforming area.
