Ekene Chikwendu

Ekene Chikwendu has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. They started their career in August 2013 as a Digital Lead at Marketwoman and Company LLC, where they were responsible for managing websites. In December 2014, they became an Operations Manager at Nuli, a beverage brand, where they handled production, packaging, logistics management, business development, inventory, accounting, supply chain management, and customer relations. In April 2016, Ekene joined The Antler Inc as a Web Designer, redesigning websites and developing CMS. From April 2018 to June 2019, they worked as a UX Designer and UX Lead at The Antler Inc, where they played a key role in developing mobile and desktop applications for a local last-mile logistic company. In February 2021, they briefly served as a Project Delivery Manager at Merror. They then joined PwC Nigeria in June 2021 as a Senior UX Designer. Currently, Ekene is working as a Product Designer at Filestage since March 2023.

Ekene Chikwendu holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Microbiology, General from the University of Lagos. In terms of additional certifications, Ekene has obtained a certification as an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in September 2022. Additionally, Ekene also holds a certification in Basic & Advanced Leadership from DLA, obtained in 2016.
