Ken Yoon

Joel Hough is a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with extensive experience in software development. At Instructure, Inc. from October 2012 to April 2017, Joel contributed significantly to the Canvas platform, primarily using Ruby on Rails. Prior to this role, Joel studied computer science at the University of Utah, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in December 2013. Joel's earlier experience includes working as a Full Stack Developer at Varian from May 2005 to August 2011, where responsibility included developing UI and motion control software for manufacturing robots and creating firmware for automated test fixtures. Joel also completed coursework at Salt Lake Community College from 2008 to 2010.
