Logan Mies has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Logan began their career as an intern at Lamp Post Group in 2014, where they gained exposure to venture capital and private equity. In 2015, they interned at Torch, focusing on product development.

Logan then joined Doikham Food Product as an intern in corporate social responsibility from January to April 2017. Simultaneously, they interned at the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration, where they contributed to innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives from May to August 2017.

In September 2017, Logan joined Ocean Spray Cranberries as a Process Research & Development employee. Logan worked there until May 2018 before transitioning to a Deployment Engineer role at Amazon Robotics, where they were involved in the implementation of robotic systems until May 2019.

Logan then joined Dennis Group as a Process Design Engineer in May 2019 and continued in this position until May 2021. Most recently, they have been employed at Filevine since 2021, starting as a Data Migration Engineer in May and later being promoted to a Data Migration Reliability Engineer. In September 2022, they became the Technical Lead in this role.

Logan Mies completed their education with a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2020 to 2023. Before that, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Data Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Their undergraduate studies were also at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Thermal-Fluid Engineering from 2014 to 2018. Logan's education journey began at Baylor School, where they completed their high school education from 2010 to 2014.
