Thierry Bastian

Thierry Bastian has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Thierry started their career at Four Js Development Tools France in 2002 as a Technical Team Lead, where they worked on Genero, a suite of products compatible with Informix 4GL language. In 2006, they joined Nokia as a Senior Software Engineer and later became a Team Lead, responsible for maintaining UI-centric APIs and engaging with customers. During their time at Nokia, they also participated in Qt Developer Days as a speaker. In 2011, Thierry joined FileWave as a Senior Software Engineer and Scrum Master, eventually progressing to the role of Head of Development. Thierry coordinated the development team's work, utilizing SCRUM processes to optimize development efforts. Currently, they serve as the Lead Software Architect at FileWave, focusing on the technical advancement of the organization's monolithic project, incorporating microservices and Kubernetes.

Thierry Bastian pursued their education in the field of computer science. Thierry attended ESIAL - Nancy from 1999 to 2002 and completed their master's degree in Ingénieur (master). During the same period, they also enrolled in Ecole Supérieure d'Informatique et Applications de Lorraine and obtained another master's degree in Ingénieur. In addition, Thierry completed a degree in Computer Science Engineering from school ESIAL in 2002. Before joining ESIAL, they studied at the University Institute of Technology from 1997 to 1999 and received a Diploma in Computer Science.
