Max Mahdi Roozbahani has over seven years of professional experience. Max Mahdi started their career in 2012 as a Visiting Scholar at Johns Hopkins University. In 2013, they joined the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Lecturer and Graduate Research Assistant. Most recently, in 2019, they founded Filio and serves as its Chief Technology Officer.

Max Mahdi Roozbahani has a comprehensive education history. Max Mahdi obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology from 2005 to 2009. Max Mahdi then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Geotechnical and Geological Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia from 2010 to 2013. After that, they attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2018, where they earned both a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Computational Science and Engineering. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computational Science and Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology.
