Alejandro Villegas

Alejandro Villegas is a seasoned software engineer and agile coach with extensive experience in backend engineering, product development, and teaching. Currently serving as a Back End Engineer at Fill the gapp since November 2023, Alejandro employs technologies such as Python 3, FastAPI, and various database systems. Previously, at Athento, Alejandro held multiple roles including Product Engineer and Team Lead, focusing on software development and support. Earlier roles include Integration Engineer at Brite, Software Developer at Indra, and various academic positions at Universidad de Málaga, where Alejandro contributed to research and teaching. Alejandro holds degrees in Computer Engineering and a Master's in Audiovisual Information Systems from Universidad de Málaga, complemented by international experience as a visiting research scholar.
