Tal Bernstein Barnea has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Tal'smost recent role is as the Chief Data Engineer & BI Analyst at Film Platform, starting in December 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Project Manager at their own company, where they utilized their subject matter expertise and legal knowledge to offer detailed reports, essays, and translations.
From 2016 to 2019, Tal held multiple roles at KAN - Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation. Tal served as the Head of International Relations and Head of the Press Centre for the Eurovision 2019 event. Tal also worked as an EBU Liaison and Freelance Senior Project Manager, driving membership processes and cultivating relationships with the European Broadcasting Union and its bodies.
Between 2016 and 2017, Tal worked as a Freelance Senior Project Manager for the Eurovision Song Contest at IBA (Israel Broadcasting Authority), where they managed schedules, budgets, and liaison with other broadcasters.
In 2015, they served as the Publisher Director at Peach Media, and from 2014 to 2015, they worked at Cinephil as a Business Administration Manager, Festivals Activity Manager, and Online Content Manager.
Before that, Tal had various roles at IBA, including Executive Assistant to the Chairman in 2012 and Project Manager, Production Assistant, and Consultant from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, they worked at EBU as a Project and Account Manager and Co-productions Coordinator from 2005 to 2009 and as a Consultant Project Manager for Special Events in 2009 and 2010.
In 2016, they interned as an Urban Innovation Intern Project Manager at the Tel Aviv Municipality's Engineering Administration. Throughout their career, Tal has demonstrated skills in project management, international relations, negotiation, event coordination, and data analysis.
Tal Bernstein Barnea's education history includes a High School Diploma in Biotechnology from Ort Ebin High School, which was obtained from 1990 to 1994. Afterward, Tal pursued a Bachelor's degree in General Linguistics and Semitic Linguistics at Tel Aviv University from 2002 to 2004. Following that, from 2009 to 2012, Tal completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Linguistics and Semitic Linguistics at the same university. Tal then continued their studies at Tel Aviv University and obtained an MA in Cognitive Linguistics from 2013 to 2015. In 2016 and 2017, Tal pursued an Executive Master's degree in Public Policy at Tel Aviv University. Lastly, in 2022 and 2023, Tal attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem for Business School Executive Education with a focus on Data Analysis.
