Tom Carney

Tom Carney is a Principal Software Engineer at Leonardo since March 2023, previously serving as a Systems Engineer and Embedded Software Engineer at Analox Group from May 2018 to February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Firmware Engineer at Seaward Group and an EC&I Design Engineer at James Fisher Nuclear Limited, where Tom focused on electrical and electronic design for robotics and remote handling systems in the civil nuclear industry. Additionally, Tom completed a summer placement in software engineering at Selex ES in June 2013. Tom holds a Master’s Degree in General Engineering/Electronics from Durham University, obtained between 2010 and 2015.
