Karan Mirpuri is the AVP, and Head of Products Analytics at FinAccel. Karan has held this position since October 2020. Prior to that, they were the Lead Fraud and Underwriting Analyst from March 2020 to October 2020. Before that, they were the Lead Fraud Analyst from January 2019 to February 2020.
From January 2018 to December 2018, Karan was a Fraud Analyst at FinAccel. In this role, they worked with extensive data-sets using SQL and compiled and transformed data into comprehensive KPI’s. Karan also conducted detailed statistical analyses of consumer spending behavior and investigated their relation to Non-Performing Loans. In addition, they implemented risk and fraud-related rules to effectively improve loan performance.
Prior to their work at FinAccel, Karan interned at Elara Capital in June 2017 where they underwent training to use the Bloomberg Terminal under a senior financial trader. Karan also compiled a report contrasting the regulations for Crowdfunding in the UK and India.
In 2013, Karan completed an internship in Marketing/Quality Control at Pt. Navshanti Indonesia. And in 2012, they were a Trainee and Youth Ambassador at Independent Marine & Engineering Consultants (IMEC).
Karan Mirpuri's educational career began with a high school diploma from the Jakarta International School. Karan then went on to study chemical engineering at University College London. After completing their bachelor's degree, they pursued a Master's Degree in Advanced Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. Finally, they obtained an MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology. In addition to their academic credentials, Karan Mirpuri is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
