Valerie R. Nelson-Ray has a diverse background and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2012, they worked as an Assistant Health Policy Analyst and later became an ORISE Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In 2013, they joined the Peace Corps as a Maternal and Child Health Extension Agent. Following that, Valerie worked at Epic as a Project Manager/Implementation Consultant from 2014 to 2017.
