Archana Rajan

Archana Rajan has a diverse range of work experience in the field of quality assurance and software testing. Archana started their career as a Technical Communications Assistant at IT Services, Queen's University in 2007. From there, they moved on to work as an Engineering Intern at Toronto Software Lab, IBM, where they focused on application testing and documentation on multiple operating systems.

In 2010, Archana joined Porter Airlines Inc. as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, responsible for black-box testing various web and desktop applications. Archana also utilized WatiN (C#) for automated testing and ensured high-quality standards for critical applications integrated with the airline reservation system.

In 2012, Archana worked at eyeReturn Marketing as a Quality Control Analyst. Archana developed and implemented testing processes for internal and client-facing products, built QA processes from scratch, and generated formal test reports. Archana also prepared requirements, test plans, and documentation to ensure performance and reliability of existing and new projects.

Moving forward, Archana joined Blueprint Software Systems in 2013 as a Software Test Engineer, focusing on testing software applications. After that, they moved to Financeit in 2014, starting as a QA Lead and progressing to a QA Manager role until 2018. Currently, Archana holds the position of Director of Quality at Financeit.

Throughout their career, Archana has demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, testing methodologies, test planning, and documentation. Archana has also worked collaboratively with teams and reported to QA managers and tech leads.

From 2006 to 2010, Archana Rajan studied Computer Engineering with a specialization in Software at Queen's University.
