Head Of FATF Training Unit at Financial Action Task Force (FATF)

Kevin Vandergrift is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in anti-money laundering and counter-financing of terrorism initiatives. Currently serving as the Head of the FATF Training Unit since May 2002, Kevin coordinates global training efforts designed to empower national officials in implementing FATF Standards. During tenure at the Financial Action Task Force, Kevin held several key roles, including Senior Counselor, where Kevin advised on FATF assessments, and Head of the International Co-operation Review Group, focusing on global AML/CFT risks. Prior to joining FATF, Kevin worked at the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, where contributions included analytical assessments and data analysis supporting investigations of financial crimes. Kevin holds a Master of Arts in Spanish and Latin American Literature and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Virginia.
